Route

The run follows a similar route to previous years. Starting and finishing at The Wheatsheaf Inn.

For those running with toddlers and babies in push chairs, providing your buggy has suitable tyres, yes the course is buggy friendly.

Start at The Wheatsheaf

Head up the old ‘dead end’ Church Aston lane to the bottom

Turn left before bypass and across the field RoW to Pitchcroft Lane.

On the day we will be avoiding any potential bottleneck at the kissing gate as Mr Timmis has kindly offered to allow us across the private tarmac road down to the barrier (raised). DO NOT USE THIS ROAD AT ANY POINT OTHER THAN ON THE DAY.

At the barrier you will turn left onto Pitchroft Lane

Then right heading down towards the chicken sheds and Little Hales Manor.

Follow this track all the way, past Pooch Palace until you meet the Sports Centre drive.

At the top, turn left and head down the Sports Centre drive and straight on at the crossroads.

A short distance down, there is a cut through the woods that brings you out on Little Hales Road.

Turn right and follow back down to the bottom.

Turn right onto Pave Lane with finish line back at the top of The Wheatsheaf carpark where a pint will be waiting for you.

Don’t worry too much about memorising this, as our dedicated and highly encouraging Marshall’s, (and signage) will be there on the day.

Private Property

Please do NOT use the Little Hales Manor Farm, Littles Hales Lodge, Littles Hales House and Littles Hales Bridge track outside the actual event as this is private property- shown in purple for clarity.
